Job Description: **MATERIALS COORDINATOR** Richmond Casual We are seeking a motivated and experienced Materials Coordinator to be based at our facility in Richmond. As Materials Coordinator you will be responsible for providing holiday relief in various locations in the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island. Duties will include reviewing, checking and analyzing requisitions, and purchasing a variety of goods and services within established limits and authority. In addition, you will maintain inventory records and levels, and ship, receive and record the movement of goods by organizing, consolidating and coordinating transportation inbound and outbound. This position involves the operation of a range of motorized equipment. You hold a BC or Inter-provincial TQ in Industrial Warehousing or Automotive Parts, or a Certificate in Purchasing, and have considerable experience in an industrial environment, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Experience and knowledge in computerized inventory systems, transportation of dangerous goods and forklift operation are assets. A valid B.C.
