full-timeThe Downtown Lethbridge Business Revitalization Zone (BRZ) is seeking a fulltime, permanent **Clean Sweep Program Manager**. The Clean Sweep Program Manager is responsible for the implementation of the Clean Sweep Program, the Hotspot Program, the Needle Debris Collection, and other Fee-For-Service contracts. The program seeks to positively contribute to a clean, safe, and vibrant city with specific attention to Downtown Lethbridge.

**Duties**

Duties include:

- Ensuring a high level of cleanliness is maintained in the downtown commercial district.
- Managing and training a team of forepersons (currently 3 individuals).
- Overseeing scheduling and training for forepersons and stipend volunteers (crew members).
- Ensuring the programs are adequately staffed with stipend volunteers and actively seek new volunteers to join the program.
- Providing CSP crew members with appropriate safety training, clothing, and safety/ protective equipment.
- Providing monthly training opportunities to all stipend volunteers.
- Serving as the primary contact for information and communications as it relates to the CSP and its programs.
- Ensuring all CSP equipment and vehicles are maintained, serviced, and stocked.
- Working closely with other social service agencies and the Integrated Care Access (ICA) network to ensure services are available to stipend volunteers (including support to find housing, food, etc.) and to recruit workers to the CSP team.
- Working closely with the business community to develop relationships between the CSP, BRZ and business owners.
- Submitting monthly reports to the City of Lethbridge Community Social Development department.
- Attending meetings with the City of Lethbridge and local organizations that support efforts in our community (Integrated Encampment Response Team (IERT), Finding Solutions/Outreach etc.
- Regularly meeting with supervisor and colleagues to provide program status updates and to assist in the creation of procedures pertaining to the CSP and the wider organization.
- Increasing awareness of community programs through various means (meetings, social media, local media, etc.).
- Maintaining a personal understanding of health and safety regulations and bylaws as they relate to labour work within the downtown commercial district.The CSP Manager as acts as the BRZ Health and Safety Coordinator.
- Maintaining a current First Aid/CPR Certificate.
- Filling in for forepersons during holidays, sick days, and as required.

**Qualifications**
- Post secondary diploma or degree in a relevant field is considered an asset. (i.e., social work, social sciences, business, etc.)
- Knowledge and/or experience of the current social issues in Lethbridge, and an ability to advocate for the program and its stakeholders.
- Proven ability developing and leading teams of people.
- Experience in program development and maintenance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to network and build community connection, self starter with aptitude to identify and solve problems.
- Mechanical and general aptitude in program equipment maintenance is considered an asset.

**Hours of work**

Monday to Friday - 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with flexibility to cover shifts for forepersons as required. CSP forepersons and crews work 7 days a week.
