Box Bus has immediate openings for full-time, permanent independent contractor drivers.

This position requires an independent contractor with their own **mini-van or cargo van.** (No cars or SUVs)

Deliveries are within the Langley, Surrey, Maple Ridge and Tri-cities areas but in one small zone each day, not all over the place.. 11 am start time, 8-10.5 hour days. Monday through Friday every week.
- The commission is 70% of the Gross-rate-pay. A typical day is 80-100 stops ~$300-$500/day.
- Essential worker position, so you'll have work even if another lockdown occurs.
- Monday to Friday job with statutory holidays off.

**Requirements**:

- Can lift up to 70lbs. (Heavy boxes pay considerably more.)
- Have a Handcart/Dolly.
- Safety Vest (Class 2), and Hard-toes Shoes/boots. (100% Mandatory at Warehouse, not on road)
- Must provide a vehicle for the work. Minivan or Cargo Van. (Cars and SUVs are too small)
- Must have a Bluetooth headset for safe, hand-free communication with dispatch. (Usually rare)
- Must have/make a WhatsApp account for communication.
- Can safely get in and out of your van multiple times a day.
- Have a smartphone with a data plan.
- 25+ years of age (For Insurance)
- Have a valid BC Class 5 driver's license (No N)
- Relatively clean driver abstract.
- No DUI/DWI or suspensions within five previous years.
- Able to pass a criminal background check.
- Excellent English communication skills

**Preferred**:

- 1+ year of courier experience in the GVA.
- Customer service background.
- A can-do attitude.
- Time management skills.
