Seasonal Production Operator

Lhoist is an industrial minerals company that specializes in processing limestone, quicklime and hydrated lime for use in a wide range of essential services & infrastructure. Our facility in North Langley, BC (Port Kells area) is searching for:
The Seasonal Production Operators will be filling, palletizing and stretch wrapping bagged lime & limestone products, and other assigned duties like general cleanup. Forklift & equipment operation is required with onsite training provided.

Rate of pay is $28.69 per hour.

Work hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, no weekends and day shift only. Duration of employment starts in June and will end in August or September.

DESIRED ATTRIBUTES:

- Familiarity with industrial environment is an asset, but not required.
- Previous experience operating a forklift is a plus.
- Ability to effectively communicate and interact with team members.

ABILITY (including, but not limited to):

- Lift, push or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Outdoor weather conditions as well as exposure to noise and dust.
