**Position Summary**:
OK Tire Port Kells is looking for a Commercial Tire Road Service Technician to operate a service truck. This position is responsible for the inspecting, installing, balancing, rotating and/or repairing of commercial, farm, industrial and/or OTR tires and wheels both in the shop (customer's) and on the road.

General Job functions include adequately securing the vehicle prior to dismounting the tires and wheels and then re-attaching all tires and wheels to ensure proper safe operation of the vehicle. Other duties include handling scrap (or take-off-tires) placing them neatly into the storage area, and many miscellaneous duties that you will be directed to perform.

**Essential Job Functions**:

- Properly secure vehicle to ensure safe operation
- Dismount and remount tires and wheels securely on vehicle
- Dismount and remount tires onto wheels without damaging any critical parts
- Operate all related equipment and tools as trained
- Work independently and in an team environment
- Ensure you provide world class customer service
- Work safely and report any injury immediately to Management/HR
- Maintain vehicle, tools and equipment to safety standards
- Other duties as assigned

**Skills & Education**:

- High School Diploma preferred but not required
- Experience working on Commercial Fleet Accounts
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Valid Driver’s License (along with driver's abstract)

**Physical & Time Demands**:

- Ability to lift 50lbs+ without assist and additional heavy lifting
- Ability to bend, twist, lift, and move quickly
- Report to work on time for all scheduled shift; return form meals and breaks on time
- Work in a fast paced environment
- Perform repeated and repetitive movement consistent within the tire industry
- Learn and maintain lifting procedures
- Learn and maintain all general housekeeping and ensure daily performance

**Experience**:

- Mounting and Dismounting Tires: 1 year (required)
- Commercial Tires: 1 year (required)
- Road Service: 1 year (required)

**Education**:

- High school or equivalent (required)

**Location**:

- LANGLEY BC (required)

License:

- Driver's License (required)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $26.00-$35.00 per hour
