The franchised Wingate by Wyndham location in Calgary, Alberta is seeking a Front Desk Agent (Franchise) to join its team at the Wingate by Wyndham Calgary Airport.

**The Role**:
A Front Desk Agent plays a critical role in a hotel’s operations, as they are often the first point of contact for guests. Their responsibilities encompass a wide range of duties focused on providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations at the front desk.

**What you'll do**:

- Performs check in and check out
- Drive the shuttle
- Update the reservation system with accurate guest details, preferences, and special requests
- Address guest inquiries and provide information about the hotel, local attractions, and services
- Resolve guest complaints and escalate issues to the appropriate department when necessary
- Liaise with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest needs are met promptly
- Ensure the safety and security of guests by following hotel procedures for key control and emergency situations

**You'll be successful if you have**:

- Customer Service Skills: A friendly and approachable attitude, with a commitment to providing exceptional service
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills
