Job description
Pointblank Installations Inc is currently looking for a yard manager to work in aiding our installation crew of who install modular buildings in the Lower Mainland and surrounding area. Come join our company that has been in service for over 25 years in the Modular Building and transport industry.

Some Duties include:

- Load, unload tools, prepare building site materials, stack building materials, and set up equipment
- Follow project instructions from construction manager or supervisor (within reason)
- Consult with construction plans
- Use construction and maintenance tools and equipment to complete daily tasks
- Follow all health and safety regulations when operating equipment
- Ensure regulated and proper personal protective equipment, such as but not limited to: headgear, earplugs, gloves, safety glasses, and clothing (i.e. high-vis vest, steel toe boots) are worn
- Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner
- Assist in building temporary structures
- Safely operate a variety of tools including but not limited to pressure washers, jackhammers, drills, saws, and grinders
- Prepare new construction sites by digging, moving dirt, or compacting space
- Provide assistance to contractors (i.e. craft workers, electricians, painters) as needed
- Climb to heights and conduct work with proper safety restraints
- Clean and clear debris and hazardous materials
- Ensure construction equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properly
- Ensure all chemicals are stored properly
- Renovate Modular Buildings
- General yard duties
- General housekeeping duties
- Managing team of employees to work efficiently and safely

We require the following:

- Safety is top priority, must be familiar with the Occupational Health and Safety Legislation including _The Workers Compensation Act_ and the _BC Occupational Health and Safety Regulation_
- Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift 50 pounds or more
- Must be comfortable climbing up tall ladders, working at elevated levels such as on top of buildings
- Positive attitude and work ethic
- Able to work independently or as an active member of a team
- Be punctual
- Capable of physical labour
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
- English

Compensation Based on Experience
