**Major Functions and Responsibilities**
- Coordinate customer service requests, provide logistics for couriers to follow on their routes and coordinate pick up and delivery times
- Establish and maintain positive client relations through a professional manner and high quality of services performed
- Alerts supervisor of circumstances that might impact the laboratory’s reputation, such as client concerns or comments
- Completes and submits all administrative forms in a timely fashion
- Maintain route schedules and makes recommendations to department leadership to effectively manage stops
- Ensures all staff have the necessary equipment in good working order to execute their daily responsibilities
- Maintains company vehicles to keep them in a safe, reliable and presentable condition, performs vehicle accident support and ensures company vehicle safety checks are completed
- Keeps accurate vehicle maintenance and repair records
- Troubleshoots and problems solves as required
**Required Skills**:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Above average organizational, interpersonal, and judgement and decision-making skills are required
- Driving skills must be above average
Required Experience
- Previous courier driving experience is an asset
- Dispatch experience is an asset
**Minimum Qualifications**
- High school diploma is required
- Must have a valid driver’s license and satisfactory drivers abstract
- A good understanding of client needs and our contractual agreement/responsibilities
- Must be knowledgeable in the safe transport of medical specimens, dangerous goods and bio-medical waste
- Above average knowledge and understanding of automobile operation and service requirements
**Other Information**
- Please note that this position includes 4% responsibility pay on all hours worked as a Dispatcher
- Applicant(s) hired into this position will be required to provide a 5-year Driver’s Abstract as a condition of employment
- As workload demands and operational requirements shift, the location, dates and/or hours of work may be changed
- All persons newly hired to _Dyna_**_LIFE_**_ _must show their confirmation of SIN letter/SIN card and government issued photo ID to Human Resources prior to commencing work
- All persons hired to _Dyna_**_LIFE_**_ _must be authorized to work in Canada for any employer
- Individuals hired into all positions must provide verification of their highest level of education
- A security clearance will be required for employees newly hired to _Dyna_**_LIFE_**:
- A security clearance with vulnerable sector completed may be required for employees newly hired to _Dyna_**_LIFE_
