In 2021, Halifax Stanfield served 1.1 million passengers and processed nearly 35,000 metric tonnes of cargo. A recognized innovator in the global airport industry, Halifax Stanfield was the first airport in North America to offer a self-service baggage drop system for all passengers and is consistently ranked among the best airports in the world.

**ROLE PROFILE**:
The Airport Service Centre (ASC) Coordinator (Term) is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the Flight Information and Resource Management Systems (FIMS/RMS), production and dissemination of gate assignment information, the administration of corrective maintenance work orders for the Service and Asset Management (SAM) system, as well as the administration and execution of HIAA's Airside Equipment Registration program. Additionally, the ASC Coordinator (Term) serves as a primary point of contact for our internal and external customers to report service requests for, but not limited to, maintenance, information technology, cleaning, boardroom bookings, curbside accessibility requests, and other general inquiries. The ASC Coordinator (Term) is required to provide a high level of customer service to HIAA clients at all times, and support HIAA values and business goals through superior telephone and communication skills. The ASC Coordinator (Term) will provide first line support whenever possible to quickly and efficiently address customer requests and issues.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Post-secondary education in business, administration or airport operations
- Two to four year's experience and knowledge in airport operations
- Experience and knowledge in airport facilitation
- Demonstrated knowledge in technical support with an emphasis on problem solving
- Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strategic working relationships with internal departments and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to monitor information and maintain a high standard of attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize, plan and organize work
- Demonstrated ability to make decisions and follow up
- Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team
- Able to work shift work, including nights, weekends and holidays.
