**Project Administrator**
Electrozad is the largest independently Canadian owned and operated electrical wholesale distributor in Southwestern Ontario. Founded 65 years ago, Electrozad has over 125 employees in 5 locations. From products to complete project solutions, we provide customers with a convenient ‘one-stop-shop’ total source for their automation and electrical needs. Our goal as “The House that Service Built” is to provide the highest standard of quality products, service, and support, to consistently meet the expectations of our customers.
The Project Administrator will be responsible for managing schedules, arranging assignments, prepare action plans, analyze risks/opportunities, gathers necessary resources and communicates progress to team members. The ultimate goal is ensuring the projects are completed within the restraints of time, quality, and budget.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Separate all pertinent segments of the project into individual files (Distribution, lighting, fire alarm, etc) allowing easy access to information when needed
- Communicate effectively with Project Quotation
- All specific documents to be filed accordingly
- Issue purchase orders to parties for procurement of product and services
- Review all acknowledgements so they match costing, product, and services as quoted to the customer
- Request approval drawings for orders where required
- After review of drawings for compliance with the purchase order, issue the drawings to customers for approval c/w with a professional transmittal and product designations
- Review returned approval drawings for any changes and communicate any changes to the manufacturer/Agent/service provider
- Ensure that any changes are completed, and any cost implications are communicated and documented within the files and to end user
- Change orders to existing requirements to be costed, marked up for sell, and sent to customer for their approval
- Accepted change orders to be documented and any cost implications to be changed in job management
- Organize projects for visibility of timelines for site requirements
- Be proactive on the timelines to ensure they are met
- Review files to make sure all has been delivered and all billings are complete
- Completed project files to be numbered and stored in a safe location for 7 years
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience in electrical sales
- Must have a proven track record in sales (electrical wholesale industry preferred)
- Experience with project quotations and coordination
- Strategically minded with strong presentation, interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Reasonably strong computer skills, including ability to work with Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel
