**MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Coordinating and dispatching freight at pre-determined distribution centers
- Assisting drivers with routing or delivery challenges and communicating changes to service requirements
- Supporting operations management to implement programs and policies to bring efficiencies, reduce costs and improve the customer service experience
- Generating and maintaining reports and other documents to monitor and track service delivery performance and on-time-delivery performance
- BOL tracking and creations for outbound and inbound trailers
- Communicate with the floor team with receiving inbound and loading outbound trailers
- Maintain strong working relationships with carriers and clients by responding to all inquiries and complaints
- Knowledge of customer service
- Ensures the handling of calls
- Responds to customer questions
- Communicate with customer, clients and drivers to ensure operational excellence on a day-to-day basis
- Perform other tasks as needed as they pertain to our day-to-day operations
- Able to multitask with different systems
- Clean up and dispose of scrap bracing, cardboard, strapping and discard in proper containers or designated areas as required

**EDUCATION**:

- Completion of secondary school or college or equivalent business administration experience is preferred

**EXPERIENCE**:

- Related logistics experience would be an asset
- Forklift experience is an asset

**CORE COMPETENCIES**:

- Knowledge of logistics and planning systems
- Familiarity with computer system hardware and software
- Exceptional analysis and reporting skills required
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse work group
- Must workday with little or no supervision
- Service oriented with excellent customer interaction skills and confidence in engaging clients across multiple channels
- Must be capable of sitting, standing, lifting up to 50lbs boxes comfortable with physical work
