**Summary**:Scran & Dram hosts/hostesses ensure the best possible overall guest experience with emphasis on providing quick, efficient, and friendly customer service, engaging customers, and maintaining a clean and orderly working environment.

**Hours of work**: Will vary. Scran & Dram is a 7-day a week operation. This position requires flexible availability and hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Schedules and hours vary depending on business requirements.

**General accountabilities**:

- Warmly greet customers as they enter the pub
- Seat customers in bar or restaurant area
- Provide exemplary service to customers
- Maintain a clean and orderly seating area including clearing tables of all glasses and plates as appropriate, wiping tables after use, picking up food & debris from the floor, etc.
- Clean glasses, utensils, and equipment as needed
- Prepare lemons, limes, and other beverage garnishes as needed
- Thoroughly perform all daily and weekly cleaning duties assigned to shift
- Interact with customers
- Take and manage reservations
- Answer the phone - the bartender is the first in line (hosts & servers will assist when they can)
- Take and prepare takeout orders, accept payment from customers

**Required qualifications**:

- Great entry level position with opportunity to grow within the company
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with other members of the team and the general public

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $14.60-$15.50 per hour
