**Overview**:
We are seeking an energetic and outgoing individual to join the team as a Custom's Processing Clerk out of terminal in Brampton.

**Hours**: Monday to Friday - Evening Shift (4:30PM Start)

**Position Responsibilities**:

- Develop and maintain professional customer relations by identifying and meeting customer needs..
- Keeps Manager informed of any problems, schedule changes, vacations.
- Finding, fixing and preventing problems/delays in cross border freight movement.
- Ensure policies, procedures are followed.
- Ensure that imaging, sending paperwork to brokers and stack manifest are done in a timely fashion to keep the freight moving to the customer as per posted transit times.
- Ensure that inland bonds are handled quickly to keep delays to a minimum
- Completes other tasks and projects as assigned.

**Position Qualifications**:

- Knowledge of cross border operations in dealing with Customs, Brokers, Shipper/Consignees.
- At least 1 year experience with **PARS **processing.
- Flexible to work different shifts
- Good computer skills
- Good interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage stress.
- Ability to work with fluctuating volumes
- Ability to rapidly learn and perform tasks related to the department, new regulations or process/procedure changes.
- Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively
- Ability to work with and manage people.
- Ability to work with and maintain an effective working relationship with our U.S. partners.
- Ability to communicate with others and gather and understand information to make sound decisions in a manner consistent with job.
