**Hours** : 5 days per week, 8 hour shifts, weekends, holidays, on-call responsibilities.

**Rate of Pay** : $20.91 to start

**Qualifications**:MUST HAVE** One year Community College Diploma in Building Maintenance or related field.. Ability to read, write, and speak English. Good working knowledge of building maintenance. WHMIS Training. Two years of maintenance experience. Must be able to work as a team member and with the elderly.

**Responsibilities**: Performs general maintenance duties to interior/exterior building systems.

Completes scheduled preventative maintenance tasks.

Conducts daily/weekly/monthly checks of building systems and maintains logs as required.

Completes work orders.

Assists with preparing vacant units for move in readiness.

Must be able to operate a tractor.

Completes interior/exterior janitorial duties as required.

Other duties as assigned.

Reports issues and concerns to the Property Manager.

Provides quality customer service through effective communication with tenants and a focus on continuous improvements.

**Must have a Vulnerable Sector Police Check - not older than 1 year**

**Job Type**: Contract
