Transportation Business Development Manager
** KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES***:

- Manage annual sales goals, performance standards, and reporting functions for all customers
- Monitor facility level EBITDA for assigned locations to ensure maximized capacity and performance
- Establish and maintain effective business relationships with customers, prospects, and industry leaders
- Understand local competitive landscape and provide innovative solutions for customers
- Support and review initiatives to ensure alignment with short-term and long-term sales business plans and objectives
- Communicate with customers and other appropriate parties to ensure high customer satisfaction
- Provide data for pricing proposals and competitive insights
- Identify and communicate continuous improvement and network optimization opportunities to customers and other appropriate parties
- Support Business Development leadership with sales initiatives

**ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field; or equivalent training in Business or Sales Management
- 2 years of progressive experience in a warehouse and sales management environment
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to deal with ambiguity
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated proficiency in development and implementation of strategy / annual plans (budget, operational performance, SOPs, workshops, etc.)
- Knowledge of temperature-controlled warehouse and logistics industry
- Ability to travel up to 50%
