**Available Shifts**:

- Monday-Friday 5:00am-2:00pm.

**Position**:Full-Time Floor Care & Facility Cleaner - Distribution Center (Ajax).

Generations Cleaning will provide detailed and consistent janitorial services focusing on key high-traffic and staff-occupied areas of the facility. The scope of work will include:
**Office Areas**:

- Dust all horizontal surfaces including desks, shelves, and windowsills.
- Empty garbage and recycling bins; reline as needed.
- Spot clean interior glass and walls as required.
- Vacuum carpets and mats; damp mop any hard surface flooring. Disinfect high-touch points such as door handles, light switches, and shared equipment.

**Washrooms**:

- Clean and disinfect toilets, urinals, sinks, and all touchpoints.
- Wipe down partitions, mirrors, counters, and dispensers.
- Refill paper products, hand soap, and sanitizer.
- Empty garbage bins and sanitary disposals; reline as needed. Mop floors using disinfectant solution; walk-behind floor machine to be used as applicable.

**Lunchroom / Break Room**:

- Wipe and disinfect tables, chairs, countertops, and appliance surfaces (microwave, fridge exterior, etc.).
- Spot clean cupboard exteriors and backsplash.
- Empty garbage and recycling; reline bins. Sweep and mop floors; walk-behind floor machine used on applicable hard floor surfaces.

**Staff Room**:

- Dust and wipe down all surfaces including lockers, benches, and fixtures.
- Disinfect touchpoints such as doorknobs, switches, and shared equipment.
- Empty garbage and recycling; reline as needed. Clean floors using mop or walk-behind floor machine, depending on surface type.

**Floor Care (Walk-Behind Machine Use)**:

- Operate walk-behind floor scrubber on designated hard floor areas in lunchroom, staff room, and washroom corridors. Ensure floors are swept and prepped prior to machine use to maintain surface integrity and machine longevity.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience using **ride-on and walk-behind floor machines** in a commercial or industrial setting.
- Comfortable working in a **warehouse environment** with high attention to safety.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Dependable and physically capable of handling repetitive tasks and equipment.
- Minimum of 3 years commercial cleaning experience.
