**Summary**

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Order Picker is required to pick and stage materials and finished goods for shipment to customers and/or the plant.

**Responsibilities**
- Check the shipping schedule for operations of the day.
- Select the correct product to be staged, ensuring the skid is free of defect or possible contamination.
- Shrink wrap the order securely, either manually or using an automated machine
- Stage the order for the shipper/receiver in the correct stage.
- Off-load and move materials or product to the correct storing place, ensuring inventory is updated.
- If moving shelf-life products, ensure newer skids are stored behind older skids.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
- Ensure food defense measures are taken.

**Qualifications**
- Completed High School Diploma
- Experience in warehouse setting as an order picker or material handler
- Valid Counter-balance license with recognized institution
- Proficient in Microsoft, experience using SAGE is a bonus

**Working Conditions/Potential Hazards**
- High lift-truck traffic
- Temperature changing environment: humidity, heat, cold
- Noise-heavy environment, personal hearing protection can be provided upon request
- Exposure to wet conditions, slippery floors
- Exposure to food odors
- Possibility for heaving lifting, manually moving products up to 50lbs
- Fast-paced environment
