Located in the heart of Oakville south of the QEW in between Dorval and Kerr Street, our mission at Rotana Auto Centre is to provide a professional and friendly atmosphere in which customers may acquire the knowledge and needs of their vehicles. We are committed to ensure customer confidence and trust in the quality of our service. The position offered is a front clerk position in an automotive repair shop. **Responsibilities**: - Assist customers (walk-in and over the phone) with orders and inquiries for auto repairs - Collect customer and vehicle information and record the customers concerns - Order parts as request by the technician - Record invoices when receiving parts - Finalise sale invoice record prices, labour time and Process transactions very precisely Produce and balance the cash report at the end of each shift - Manage account payable and account receivable - Maintain an organized and accurate filing system - Maintain accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions - Match purchase orders to invoices and enter invoices into computer **Experience** - Knowledge of a large range of auto parts for a variety of different vehicles is an "asset" - Experience working in a customer-facing capacity - Ability to work in a fast paced environment - Willingness to learn and improve upon automotive parts knowledge - Attention to detail - Intermediate computer skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; - Effectively identifies priorities in order to complete tasks and meet all deadlines; **Schedule**: - Monday - Friday **Work remotely**: - Not applicable **Benefits**: - ability to grow **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Salary**: From $17.00 per hour Schedule: - Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
