Position: Full Time (8:00am - 4:30pm, Sunday to Thursday)

**Property Associate**:
As a Property Associate, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of Kevington’s Vancouver residential pet friendly rental buildings with associated retail spaces. Along with building cleaners, landscapers, maintenance technicians, and trades, you will care for the administration of the properties. This includes assisting with building management related duties such as residential leasing, communications, community engagement, all with a hands on component to keep the properties running smoothly.

**Primary Responsibilities and Duties**:
The successful applicant will need to have knowledge in the following areas:

- The duties and responsibilities of a Building Manager
- Attend to multiple properties
- Familiar with Residential Tenancy Act and residential leasing
- Basic maintenance skills (training provided)

**Leasing / Administration Tasks**

Perform daily operations of the Buildings including but not limited to:

- Assist our leasing team with move in/out procedures, showings, and documentation
- Assist with inquiries and respond to requests promptly, accurately, and completely through Kevington’s digital tenant portal
- Complete various tasks including report writing, audits, and updates of key databases / entryphone
- Conduct daily and/or scheduled building walkthroughs
- Perform annual/scheduled suite inspections
- Enforce and ensure adherence to the BC Residential Tenancy Act and Kevington Policies
- Perform other duties as assigned or as necessary

**Building Maintenance Tasks**
- Work with and support the building cleaners, trades, security and operations team to maintain the property
- Daily supplemental property cleaning, set up and facilitation of communal and amenity spaces including gyms, patios, and operations related rooms
- Coordinate work activities and services from vendors and other contractors, as needed, by researching and identifying needs, supervising, and ensuring open communication between contractors, tenants, and team members
- Waste management oversight including moving / emptying the bins
- Assist with seasonal watering or salting and snow removal
- Identify issues, assist with minor maintenance, and/or arrange for the repair
- Be familiar with the building’s emergency systems and protocols

**Hospitality Focus**
- Act as a point of contact for tenants (residential & commercial) and host trades
- Fosters community by extending warm friendly, professional greetings to all who enter/exit
- Managing the parcel delivery and pick up services at the Buildings
- Works with our Team to plan and run building activities such as events and holiday decor
- Create building signage including updating internal PowerPoint screens
- Handle all situations in a calm and professional manner

**Desired Skills and Experience**
- Experience in building management and or residential leasing
- Excellent written and oral command of the English language
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong problem solving abilities
- Energetic team player, who is detail oriented with the ability to take initiative
- Demonstrate a high level of integrity and professionalism
- Competency in using technology

**Additional Requirements**:

- Building Management or Residential Leasing schooling an asset.
- Must be able to lift 25lbs and work on ladders - and perform other physically duties
- Permitted to legally work in Canada (citizen, PR, work permit)
- Valid BC drivers license considered an asset
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
- Must provide an acceptable Police Information Check (criminal record check)

Pay: $60,000.00-$63,000.00 per year
