As a member of the Business Development team, the Intellectual Property Associate will be responsible for coordinating the day to day activities of the trademark portfolio which includes liaising with internal stakeholders, tracking and following up on deadlines, and providing support for patent related tasks. **Duties and Responsibilities**
- Work closely with internal stakeholders on trademark activities such as summarizing and coordinating key actions, tracking deadlines and following-up as needed
- Act as the first point of contact for trademark agents
- Manage the trademark database and ensure information is up to date
- Support the Intellectual Property team with tracking and reporting budget expenditures
- Review invoices related to trademarks and patents

**Knowledge and Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree or post-secondary diploma relevant to intellectual property, with at least one year of work experience
- Trademark administration certification or Trademark paralegal certification considered an asset
- General understanding of intellectual property and in particular, trademarks
