**Spring Meadows School Age Centre **is seeking flexible and motivated staff who would like to have an opportunity to substitute in our school age program. We are looking for experienced Child Care Assistant to work various hours Monday to Friday between the hours of 7:00AM and 6:00PM. Preset hours may be available. Full time hours may be provided for staff holidays, Inservices and breaks. Please indicate your availability in cover letter.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Implementing programming for school age and kindergarten children
- provide support to co-workers in day-to-day activities
- communicate effectively with children, families and staff

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

- Child care assistant classification required
- Current First Aid and CPR required
- Satisfactory Criminal record check and Child Abuse Registry Check
- Previous experience working with children ages 5 - 12
- Well organized with strong and creative programming skills
- Self-motivated, flexible and reliable
- Able to problem solve effectively with the ability to multi-task
- Positive teamwork skills
- Strong communication skills

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
