NAIT’s Learning Services team is seeking a motivated, adaptable, and service-oriented individual to join our Assessment Services team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate and administer exam services and accommodations for students with disabilities, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and NAIT policies and procedures.
- Manage the scheduling and administration of exams across multiple campuses and formats, maintaining an up-to-date database of invigilators.
- Oversee exam integrity, security, and adherence to procedures, including invigilation and technical support for assistive technologies.
- Facilitate the acquisition, production, and maintenance of alternate format exams and course materials in accordance with accessibility standards.
- Act as a primary contact for inquiries related to Assessment Services, offering guidance to students, instructors, and external partners on schedules, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with academic departments to coordinate and schedule on-campus, off-campus, and online course assessments.
- Maintain accurate records of examination activities in compliance with FOIP standards, supporting institutional reporting, audits, and regulatory requirements.
- Address exam-related conflicts and concerns with professionalism and empathy, ensuring timely resolutions for students and staff.
- Perform administrative tasks, including managing confidential data, maintaining files, requisitioning resources, and preparing reports for third-party and government stakeholders.
- Support standardized testing processes, such as IELTS, ensuring compliance with institutional and external standards.
- Engage in professional development and perform additional responsibilities as required by operational needs.

**Skills & Abilities**:

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage complex schedules, maintain accurate records, and coordinate multiple tasks across campuses and partners.
- Attention to detail ensuring accuracy in exam delivery, documentation, and compliance with institutional policies and accessibility standards.
- Technical proficiency with knowledge and skills with databases, learning management systems, and student administration systems such as PeopleSoft.
- Skilled in using assistive technologies (e.g. TextHelp-Read&Write), exam invigilation software, and general office software to support assessment services.
- Problem-solving and critical thinking with the ability to resolve exam-related conflicts, troubleshoot technical issues, and resolve student and staff concerns effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to deliver clear, empathetic, and professional communication to students, staff, and external partners.
- Demonstrate professional integrity and discretion in handling confidential student information and adhering to FOIP standards and Assessment Services procedures.
- Good understanding of learning challenges encountered by students and the Alberta Human Rights legislation and Duty to Accommodate
- Work effectively in a dynamic academic environment, collaborating with diverse NAIT departments, students, staff, and external partners.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum post-secondary diploma, preferably in Business Administration or Office Management.
- 2+ years of related experience in an administrative capacity.
- Preference is given for experience in a post-secondary environment, specifically within assessment or exam services.
- Equivalencies may be considered.

Applicants with education credentials earned outside of Canada should have their credentials evaluated by World Education Services or the International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS).

**Remuneration**: $48,257.04 - $62,451.48 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits package. (Classification - Administrative Support V).
- This position is covered by the Alberta Union of Provincial Employees (AUPE) Collective Agreement._
