**SUMMARY OF THE ROLE**:
**WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING**:

- **Recruitment & Onboarding**: Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, interviewing, and hiring processes. Prepare source documentation for new hires.
- ** Benefits Administration**: Administer employee benefits plans and liaise with Payroll on changes and updates.
- ** Leave Management**: Oversee all types of leave, including WCB, disability, maternity, etc.
- ** Employee Records**: Maintain accurate electronic employee files and update organizational charts as needed.
- ** HR Projects**: Initiate and support various HR projects and provide guidance on relevant training.
- ** Employee Relations**: Assist with discipline-related issues, investigate and resolve employee relation matters, and provide guidance on best practices.
- ** Record-Keeping**: Ensure accurate record-keeping and system maintenance for private personnel data.

**WHAT YOU'LL NEED**:
**Education & Experience**
- Certificate or diploma in Human Resources.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in HR, preferably in a medium-sized business.
- Strong knowledge of federal, provincial, and state employment and human rights laws in both Canada and the US is preferred.
- Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, and Dayforce preferred.
- Must already be legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Impeccable judgment and professional maturity, with a demonstrated ability to handle sensitive issues
- Excellent time management, organizational, and attention to detail skills
- Flexible, friendly, and capable of working independently
