Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager, the adaptable and customer-oriented leader in this role will be responsible for generating new business, uncovering category growth possibilities, and supporting the ongoing development of tailored programs and offerings. Through a mix of proactive outreach, lead management, and account development, they will work to grow Home Hardware’s footprint by engaging the right partners and enhancing the overall customer experience. This includes managing the entire sales cycle and collaborating across departments to ensure seamless execution and sustained results.
This role is ideal for a motivated and commercially-minded professional who thrives on developing new relationships and seeing their work contribute directly to business growth. The position offers flexibility, autonomy, and frequent travel across Canada and the United States, making it a great fit for someone energized by the variety and challenge of business development in a dynamic, purpose-driven environment.
A diploma or degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
A proven track record in B2B sales or business development, ideally in paint, coatings, construction, or home improvement.
Experience managing the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing and account growth.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities.
A collaborative mindset and the ability to work independently with professionalism and accountability.
Comfort navigating complex commercial relationships and tailoring solutions to meet client needs.
Familiarity with private-label, white-label, or large retail programs is considered an asset.
French language skills are an asset.
Willingness and ability to travel regularly across Canada and the United States.
