**Job Summary**:
The **Team Lead** will primarily support the day-to-day operations of the HART (Homeless Addictions and Recovery Treatment) Hub, overseeing a wide variety of roles including Peer Coaches, Basic Needs Coordinators, Housing Case Managers. The Team Lead will work closely with Hart Hub leadership to ensure the delivery of high-quality, client-centered services for individuals experiencing homelessness, substance use challenges, and mental health needs. HART hub services align with trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and harm reduction principles. This role will support hiring, onboarding, coaching, and mentoring, crisis intervention, client support, care plan development, policy development, policy implementation and change management. They will support the Leadership team in ensuring compliance with funding and legal requirements and completing reporting.

The team lead will work closely with leadership, partners, and clients to foster a collaborative, inclusive environment and support continuous improvement efforts.

**Job Requirements**:
A portion of these roles will be designated for individuals who identify as a member from Black, Indigenous and/ or racialized communities.

**Education and Experience**:

- Post-secondary education in harm reduction, social work, behavioural therapy, or an equivalent combination of education, work and or lived experience.
- Demonstrated experience supervising multidisciplinary teams in a high-pressure environment.
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in mental health, substance use and addictions.
- Previous experience in a leadership role and asset.
- Experience in supportive housing, healthcare, addictions, substance use recovery and/or treatment model

**Leadership and Coordination**:

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor, support, and guide a diverse team.
- Experience in overseeing program logistics, including scheduling and staffing.
- Demonstrated success in fostering an inclusive and respectful workplace environment.
- Plays a key role in human resource management including recruitment, onboarding, coaching and supervision, performance management, scheduling and health and safety.
- Leads by example in making decisions and solving problems which mitigate risk in situations which are complex and ambiguous, using data to support decision making.
- Demonstrates consistency, fairness, and promptness in decision making and communicates decisions in a transparent and clear manner.
- Inspires teams and individuals to achieve significant beneficial outcomes by focusing on integrated approaches and protocols which always support safety and respect.

**Program Development and Delivery.**
- Supports staff in the delivery of high-quality services and programs to clients which meet their needs, support safety and appropriate infection control/transmission issues, and are within legal and organizational policies and procedures.
- Works with the Manager to ensure timely and accurate reporting of various outcome requirements and measures.
- Ensures program policies and procedures are followed.

**Operational and Program Management**:

- Oversees day to day operations of multi-disciplinary team, ensure adequate staffing levels, coverage and contribute to direct service delivery when needed.
