**Permanent Full-Time Position - 35 hours/week (1.0 FTE)** Pay Scale $84,344 to $101,620 annually Pension and Benefits Excellent benefits package including Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP) Application Deadline March 11, 2025 at 3:59:00 a.m. **About the Role**: Reporting to the Director, Mental Health, Substance Use Health & Addictions, Community Health Promotion and Early years, the Manager, Mental Health, Substance Use Health and Addictions is accountable for the day-to-day operations and special projects of the Mental Health, Substance Use Health and Addictions teams which include Mental Health Counsellors, administrative and support staff. The Manager will have primary responsibility for the Counselling teams, Lifestyle Enrichment for Senior Adults (LESA) program and non-medical staff in the Trans Health clinic. The Manager will undertake special projects related to quality improvement in MHSUA at CCHC, with a particular focus on 2SLGBTQ+ services. The incumbent conducts and/or facilitates the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of the above services in consultation with the Director and plays a key role in building and maintaining community partnerships. Alongside the Director and leadership team, the Manager contributes to the strategic direction of the MHSUA programs and CCHC more broadly. **Requirements**: **Major Resposibilities** **Essential**: - Master’s degree in Social Work, Counselling, Health Administration, and/or related discipline or equivalent combination of education, lived and/ or professional experience - Minimum of five years’ leadership experience, including 3 years managing a multi-disciplinary team in health care or social services. - Registered or eligible for registration with relevant professional College or governing body (i.e. College of Social workers, psychotherapists, etc.) - As a part of our organizational commitment to hiring from within communities we serve, this role is designated for staff identifying as 2SLGBTQIA+. Applicants must clearly self-identify. - Demonstrated understanding of Mental Health, Substance Use Health and Addictions services and programs, specifically: counselling services, harm reduction services, and care coordination/case management services. - Strong understanding of best practices in clinical counselling including standards of professional practice - Demonstrated leadership experience in development and delivery of Mental Health, Substance Use Health and Addictions programs and services. - Demonstrated leadership experience in addressing issues of inequity, racism, homophobia/ transphobia and oppression on an individual, organizational and systemic level. - Solid knowledge of general management principles, including financial and human resource management. - Excellent and demonstrated management and supervisory skills - motivating, coaching, mentoring, leading and integrating diverse, intersectional teams. - Strong critical analysis, problem solving, planning, decision-making, leadership, organizational and change management skills. - Ability to work independently and be self-directed; exercises initiative and sound judgement - Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment and meet conflicting demands - including providing support and direction to staff. - Demonstrated experience working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team. - Ability to be an effective change agent. - Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. - Strong promoter and enhancer of team work. - Proficient with Microsoft office suite. - Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects. - Demonstrated strong organizational, planning and time management abilities. - Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends. **Desireable**: - Familiarity with management information systems. - Identifies as a member of Indigenous, Black or racialized communities - Lived or living experience of mental health, substance use, trauma or homelessness **Language designation** - English, written and spokenFrench, spoken**Start Date**: April 2025 **How to “Express an Interest” for this Opportunity**: Please note the following: The file name for your resume should read: "(last name)_(first name)_ Resume" The file name for your cover letter should read: "(last name)_(first name)_ Cover Letter" We thank all applicants for their interest.
