RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review website content, marketing materials, images, and brand image on an ongoing basis.
- Identify insights and trends to optimize performance
- Assist in managing constituent publishing schedule for articles and social media content.
- Curate content ideas and contribute to brainstorming sessions
- Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy
- Assist and direct any customer service inquiries through social channels
- Create monthly calendars and timelines with important dates for the marketing department highlighting areas of opportunity
- Maintain current, in-depth knowledge of SEO and digital media channels including paid social.
- Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
- Ensure that website projects are informed by up-to-date SEO and/or lead generation best practices
- Create reports and analyze campaign results with GA, GSC, and Sprout Social
- Assist fellow associates and Marketing Director with creating and managing SEM and SEO campaigns
- Assist with weekly social checklists/audits and occasionally
- Monitor various social media platform trends such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Conduct Keyword Research and trending topics within client's Industry
- Compile data and assist in measuring results
- Write compelling social media and search ad copy
- Regularly report on KPIs and learnings, providing actionable insights for internal teams
- Research topics and hashtags, coordinate art, research images, and crop them for social media, as required
- Coordinate content creation; work closely with property representatives, freelancers, and agencies; continuously improve approval and reporting processes
- Analyzes analytics: Collect quantitative and qualitative data from organic and paid marketing efforts
- Identify insights and trends to optimize the performance of the brand.
- Perform market analysis and research on the competition
- Provide suggestions to management for improving customer experience via social platforms
- Assists in creating performance reports
- Support social media, and brand marketing programs, including pitching and brainstorming new content and marketing ideas for the digital marketing team
- Manages the company’s social media accounts and posts content
- Create social media and organic growth strategies.
- Keep up to date on new social media platforms, standard practices, tools, and technologies on an ongoing basis.
- A creative and responsible self-starter who is comfortable with both taking initiative and working in collaboration with a team
- Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1-3 years of experience in a comparable role is preferred
- Strong desire to learn along with a professional drive
- Self-driven and able to work independently with provided direction
- Motivated, enthusiastic and resilient team player who can work independently
- Eager to tackle new projects and ideas with an eye for detail.
- Comfortable working with remote teams
- Culturally aware, inclusive, empathetic, sense of humour
- Knowledgable of different marketing techniques
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and Google Suite
- Ability to create and edit image assets using Canva, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Illustrator, and/or Adobe Photoshop
- Passion for the marketing industry and its best practices with interest in Hospitality Industry
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution studying digital marketing, communications, or related program.
- Excellent organizational skills
- Be active on social media and have a strong understanding of Instagram and Facebook
- Strong Database and Data management skills
- Keen understanding and curiosity about content and digital marketing
- Growth mindset: adapt to changing needs and priorities and get the job done with excellence
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to think and act strategically and tactically
- Thirst for knowledge and passion to learn and grow in your area of expertise.
- Sense of accountability to the goals, the client and the team.
**Job Type**: Part-time
