**Title**: Warehouse Operations Assistant

**Reports To**: Warehouse Supervisor & Logistics Coordinator

**Job Summary**:
The primary function of the role is to provide operations support to the various service divisions of Para Space. This goal is met through dynamic and changing objectives such as equipping trucks, swapping machines, preparing materials etc.

**What Impact You Will Have**:
As the Warehouse Operations Assistant you will be responsible for plant ordering, facilities maintenance and truck processing. These tasks provide support to business operations and ensure the building, equipment and trucks are in pristine working order for the service divisions.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Machine repair
- Order receiving - including yard plant inventories / care (orphanage & jobs)
- Equipment scheduling
- Warehouse inventories and ordering: Parts, hand tools, machines, fluids and tarp stock audits
- Safety inventories and orders
- Truck builds and scheduling
- Seasonal flowers (receiving / spreadsheet audits / order picks)
- Annual truck load up
- Field rescue missions & problem solving
- Forklift use and maintenance

**Qualifications**:

- Current, unsuspended, valid driver’s license; driving the company truck will be required
- Demonstrate basic leadership qualities
- Ability to deal with managers, employees and vendors in a professional manner at all times
- Willingness to support supervisory staff
- Be willing to start early and/or work overtime
- Experienced in all core Landscape Maintenance tasks
- Lawncare
- Bedwork
- Basic Pruning
- Cleanup
- Transplanting
- Fertilizing
- Deadheading and spacing plants

**Compensation & Perks**:

- Full-time Monday to Friday. Our business hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm (your shift may be altered so you can assist field supervisors with materials)
