**Student - Business Analytics, Retail**

- This is an exciting opportunity for a student to gain valuable, hands-on experience and to shape and contribute to the growth of the company. The Student will support the business units by providing business intelligence, interactive reporting, and assistance in identification, research and analysis on opportunities to improve the business unit operations. The student will be guided by defined procedural constraints, and works under the moderate supervision of the Lead Business Intelligence Developer.

**What you’ll be working on**:
- Use statistical and data visualization tools to perform complex data manipulations and provide reports that enable management to drive increases in sales, revenue, and profitability-
- Provide operational business intelligence, fact-finding, diagnostics and data mining; compile data requirements and make recommendations for change and conversion-
- Provide training to team members; promote data literacy within the organization- **What you’ll need to have**:
- Eligible students must be registered as full-time post secondary student in an accredited institution, studying Business Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics and Statistics.-
- Returning to full-time studies in the next academic term.-
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel-
- Knowledge of Business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Spotfire)-
- Well-developed analytical, evaluation, decision making and problem resolution skills-
- Attention to detail/accuracy-
- Well-developed communication, negotiation, persuasion and/or presentation skills to a variety of stakeholders-
- Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks-
- Ability to work independently and as a team member**It would be nice for you to have**:
