**About The Team**

The Finance Department provides reliable internal and external reporting for Midland’s growing operations. We work closely across divisions to deliver accurate and reliable monthly financial reporting. We value a partnership with employees and give them the autonomy they need to succeed.

The Finance Department is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented account professional who is self-motivated and able to work successfully in a collaborative team environment. At least 3 years recent and relevant experience related to Accounts Receivable. Long-term pursuit of CPA designation is an asset but not required. Must have some form of post-secondary education related to accounting, such as a degree, diploma or certificate. Experience in the construction industry is considered an asset.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Maintain the Accounts Receivable subledger
- Process daily bank deposits
- Prepare monthly progress draws on construction projects
- Analyze and reconcile complex customer accounts
- Continuously monitor AR Aging reports and follow up on overdue payments as required
- Effective communication with customers to resolve invoice concerns and ensure prompt
payment
- Work closely with Multi-Family division to ensure project billings align with contracts and work to date
- Ad-hoc projects and analysis as required

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
