**MISSION**

The Machine Operator / Assembler is responsible for operating various machinery as well as assembly of carbon brushes. The duties and responsibilities dictate the safety and efficiency of everyone around them. They must remain focused and diligent in performing their tasks correctly and with care to keep everything running smoothly. Their duties and responsibilities may include:

- Operation of various machinery, including tamping, grinders, drill press, slot machine etc.
- Setting up manufacturing equipment for daily use
- Maintaining equipment and machinery so they can operate safely
- Training and overseeing other employees on specialty machines
- Maintaining the understanding of operating procedures for their machines
- Proposing improvements to the process or machines as needed
- Reporting safety hazards within the work environment
- Use measuring instruments
- Prepare parts for processing
- Maintain cleanliness of the immediate area
- Comply with all Health and Safety procedures.
- Comply with ISO policies & procedures.
- Assembly of carbon brushes.
- Other projects as assigned.

**REQUIRED SKILLS**
- Secondary education / High school diploma / On-the-job training.
- Ability to read and understand.
- Professional experience required : 0-3 years

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $17.00 per hour
