**GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB**:
The incumbents main responsibilities will be to operate filling machines to fill appropriate containers (sausages, cans, cartridges) of various sizes. Responsible for related activities such as performing changeovers, washing machines between colour changes and making necessary adjustments to keep machine running properly.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Assigned work/machine at Tier meeting
- Prepare machine for operation and prepare labels.
- Fill process orders in sausages, cans and cartridges
- Wash machines between colour changes
- Housekeeping, sweep area and clean tools
- Follow safe work procedures and practices
- Recognize and report hazards
- Attend health and safety meetings
- Participate in training, audits and inspections
- Comply with legal duties and Tremco safety policies and procedures
- All employees are liable under the Criminal Code of Canada as well as the Occupational Health and Safety Act to take every reasonable precaution in the circumstances for the protection of workers

**EDUCATION**:

- Highschool diploma or equivalent

**EXPERIENCE**:

- 0-2 years of previous experience.
- Experience working in a chemical manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Must be a certified forklift operator

**BENEFITS AND COMPENSATION**:

- The hourly rate for applicants in this position generally ranges between $ 25.30 and $27.55. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operations, needs, and other considerations permitted by law.
- **SHIFT PREMIUMS**:Afternoon includes $0.80, Nights includes $1.10.
