**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Process and record incoming payments accurately in the accounting system.
- Perform account reconciliation to ensure all transactions are accounted for.
- Maintain accurate records of accounts receivable, including invoices and payment histories.
- Communicate with clients regarding outstanding balances and payment arrangements, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Collaborate with the accounts payable team to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth financial operations.
- Utilize accounting software, such as Sage, for data entry and financial reporting.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or similar role is preferred.
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
- Proficient in accounting software; experience with Sage is a plus.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent math skills for accurate financial calculations.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $17.40 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Accounts receivable: 2 years (preferred)
