**Responsibilities**
- Coordinate and manage the most efficient loads to remain cost-effective as a company, combining shipments based on their routes and timeline
- Determine the best delivery methods and negotiate rates
- Facilitate the shipping of products from one destination to another
- Prepares loads for shipment
- Manages activities throughout the order fulfilment and transportation cycle to make sure established deadlines are met
- Continually reviews freight costs, transportation rates, and/or the prices of raw materials to keep costs down where possible
- Plan and track the shipment of final products according to the requirements
- Prepare accurate reports in requested system for upper management
- Data entry in company database for loads/items
- Relay information back to site supervisors if trucks are delayed or change in schedule.
- Communicate with drivers, vendors, managers, customers, and other dispatchers;
- Carrying out tasks on other assigned projects as needed

Minimum Requirements:

- A minimum of 1-3 years of hands-on experience in logistics operations within Canada
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook (intermediate level)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Familiarity with local shipment tracking and tracing processes
- Competitive ability**:Exhibits excellent organizational skills in fast pace environment**:

- Must have a very high level of attention to detail and accuracy Ability to prioritize to meet deadlines
- Familiar with customs clearance will be an asset

Pay: $45,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
