At IDM Youth Services (IDMYS) we believe that all people have the opportunity to live in a safe, stable, supportive environment. IDMYS provides all-inclusive care in a residential setting to one of the most vulnerable populations, at-risk youth. All-inclusive care includes everything from cooking, cleaning, and driving to and from appointments, to administering medications, to offering emotional and behavioural support. Our team at IDMYS is dedicated to providing superior care and support in everything we do for the youth we serve.

We are currently looking for a **Residence Coordinator **to join our amazing team

**What we are looking for**:

- Passion for helping others, open-minded, adaptable.
- Proven leadership skills: the ability to support with orientation, training, supervision, and work direction.
- Excellent communicator who is understanding, patient and non-judgmental while providing exceptional care to our youth
- Computer literacy
- Valid Driver's license - the equivalent of Class 5
- Current first aid (or willing to obtain)
- Negative TB test.
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
- Must be 19 years or older.
- Provide Proof of Vaccine

**Qualification Requirements**:

- Diploma in a related human/social service field.
- Three years recent related experience.
- One year minimum experience in a supervisory or administrative role.
- Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

**Compensation, hours and location**:
**The Residence Coordinator is Grid 14 - Compensation starts at $33.77 per hour for Residence Coordinator shifts and requires union membership (Any other shifts picked up will be paid out at the rate designated for the shift type).**

This is a Full-Time Permanent position of Tuesday-Saturday located in the Westshore. The successful applicant will be working at multiple locations.
