**Description**

As the captive finance company of the Audi, Ducati and Volkswagen brands in Canada, VW Credit Canada, Inc., also known as Audi Finance and Volkswagen Finance, is a wholly owned subsidiary of VW Credit, Inc. Audi Finance and Volkswagen Finance offers a wide range of leasing, retail financing and protection plans expertly tailored to meet the needs of our Customers. Additionally, we provide commercial financing products to Audi and Volkswagen Dealers to support expanding dealership capabilities and enhancing overall operations.
Provide leadership and guidance to the NAR Remarketing Auction Operations team and oversee Auction Vendor Platform administration. Develop and supervise a high functioning team to ensure the care and custody returned vehicle assets from the point of surrender to receipt at auction location. Responsible for monitoring vendor performance of NAR Remarketing Auction Operations, post-return Vehicle Inspections, and Transportation Partner, managing testing needs for bi-monthly enhancements, and the reconciliation of monthly billing Support and act as a primary contact for the VWGoA corporate and field colleagues related to Remarketing Logistics needs.

**Responsibilities**:
**Leadership and Resource Management (30%)**:

- Assist Remarketing Auction operations team to resolve the inbound auction logistics activities for both US and Canada.
- Supervise and motivate Remarketing Auction Operations team to build strong working relationship with VW and Audi dealers, VCI/VCCI and VWGoA/VGCA Field Personnel, VW and Audi Brands, VCI/VCCI Marketing, and other areas of VCI/VCCI and VWGoA/VGCA to support and resolve Remarketing Auction Operations-related inquiries.
- Responsible for employee selection, coaching, mentoring and training to develop a high performing team.
- Develop and maintain a working team that consistently provides a high level of quality and service to VW and Audi dealers.
- Participate in Auction Operations headcount budget planning and forecasting.
- Monitor daily workflow and productivity of the assigned group to ensure attainment of group goals of inventory analysis, sale reconciliation & logistics.
- Review and monitor established individual, team, and departmental performance measurements of daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics.
- Oversee daily, weekly, monthly reporting of PMP and KPI objectives for Logistics team’s performance and provide results to Management.
- Conduct staff meetings as needed to educate on changing programs and policies.
- Ensure optimal asset protection to monitor vehicle disposals and auction assignments.

**Program and Vendor Management (25%)**:

- Manage all daily operations of inbound auction logistics to ensure performance metrics are met.
- Manage post-return Vehicle Inspection completion tracking and problem resolution processes to ensure adherence to inspection SLAs.
- Monitor NAR Remarketing Auction Operations and Transportation Partner’s daily performance and report technical issues to vendor for immediate resolution.
- Support system changes related to physical auction inventory by ensuring day-to-day operations function correctly within the VCI system or vendor system(s).
- Analyze operating results and implement continuous improvement strategy via Auction Matrix system.
- Analyze current logistics trends and provide recommendations for auction site locations based on transportation time and cost.
- Identify, analyze, and secure accurate inventory analysis, sale reconciliation, and monitoring of all logistics related to auction sales and report issues to vendor for timely resolution.
- Resolve escalated issues regarding auction transport and inventory issues that meet with business objectives.
- Manage and oversee that reconciled auction sales are audited in a timely and accurate manner to ensure corporate audit standards are followed.
- Responsible for reconciliation and payment of monthly invoice for external vendor Provide monthly statistical data on the groups’ performance.
- Responsible for assisting in the development of and tracking KPI’s for the marketing efforts of the auctions.
- Facilitate Audi and Volkswagen Brands to continuously improve customer and dealer satisfaction and loyalty by providing authorized access to auction inventory for testing and evaluation purposes (PAR process).
- Supports the management of transportation budget to include assisting with negotiation of fuel surcharges.
- Manage resources responsible for completing all online and auction related user acceptances testing for changes and/or modifications to online direct sites and the Remarketing systems.
- Participate in contract documentation with Logistics vendors.
- Monitor and update all documents and communications for adherence to legal, corporate guidelines, and established procedures.
