This job offers the opportunity to work from home as part of a hybrid work arrangement. This arrangement will allow you to work some days at a TCHC work location and the rest of the time from home. The amount of time required to work at a TCHC work location is flexible, while considering operational and service delivery requirements.

**Make a difference**

Reporting to the Manager, Network & Infrastructure, the Supervisor, Network & Infrastructure, will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day operational activities by providing technical leadership and expertise for Toronto Community Housing and Toronto Seniors Housing. This role will collaborate with several cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of on-premises and cloud-based hybrid infrastructure while maintaining high levels of network performance, security, and availability.

**What you’ll do**
- Team Supervision_
- Supervises the day-to-day activities for team providing second level on-site/remote supporting Active Directory, Azure, LAN/WAN, server, and networking.
- Oversees the configuration, installation and support of hardware and software services.
- Provides leadership and guidance to team members regarding project deliverables and monitor progress to ensure successful completion.
- Plan, organize and manage team's work by providing guidance, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.
- Coordinates afterhours on-call rotation to meet business requirements.
- Support Services_
- Supports the administration of Azure Cloud services including cloud backup and recovery.
- Provides Level 2 escalation for Service Desk in diagnosing cloud/on-prem infrastructure and network incidents, identify root cause, resolve operational issues and restore/optimize services.
- Ensures optimal performance threshold met for data, communications, and network infrastructure through proper monitoring of performance metrics.
- Escalates issues, problems, risks, and constraints to appropriate parties for clarification and resolution.
- Integrates, configures, deploys, and documents compliant infrastructure and supporting services to cloud platform.
- Oversees data backup and recovery to ensure the availability and integrity of user data, databases and the network environment.
- Ensures support compliancy of Cisco and Windows operating system including mandatory updates to ensure the security and reliability of the corporate infrastructure.
- Analyzes patterns and trends in problems encountered to identify and address common user issues.
- Security _
- Assists with Cyber-Security risk assessments on emerging threats, vulnerabilities and work with IT staff and external vendors to remediate.
- Identifies, documents, and escalates cyber security incidents in strict adherence to standard processes.
- Implements solutions based on recommended security best practices and compliance aligned to corporate guidelines.
- Collaborates with Cyber Security Team to ensure proper controls are deployed across enterprise.
- Implements and maintains infrastructure security policies and procedures adhering with Cybersecurity policy and governance.
- Planning Support_
- Assists Manager with developing project plans, requirements gathering, evaluating and recommending infrastructure solutions.
- Assists Manager in the development of annual budget.
- Supports PMO project lifecycle by ensuring key deliverables are completed within required timelines.
- Supports Manager with operationalizing newly onboarded services through the implementation of staff training, support model, roles and responsibilities, and SOPs.
