**Position Overview**:
The MDRD Supervisor facilitates the coordination and supervision of daily operational activities of the MDRD, to ensure the efficient and effective utilization of approved financial, human and material resources. The Supervisor also acts as a liaison between the user units and MDRD.

**Requirements**:
- Completion of a 3 year Medical Device Reprocessing program
- Minimum 5 years experience in a hospital MDRD.
- Current registration with the MDRAO or CSAO or IAHCSMM
- Previous supervisory experience
- Good computer skills on Microsoft office which includes PowerPoint, spread sheet, and word
- Strong Medical terminology knowledge
- Familiar with MDRD instrument tracking software system
- Previous supervisory experience
- Good computer skills on Microsoft office
- Ability to work independently within Total Patient Care modality
- Demonstrate values consistent with SHN’s Code of Conduct and is committed to fostering a healthy and positive work environment in accordance with Health and Safety policy and legislation
- Utilize protective equipment provided and identify and reports hazards
- Engage in ethical conduct and strives to understand and appreciate the diversity of our patient/staff population and community
