Field Service Canada is seeking a driven and dedicated individual for the Audio Visual Integration Technician (Level 1) position. Field Service is an industry leader in the design, installation, service and support of lighting and audio/visual systems across Canada with offices in Toronto, Ottawa and Vancouver.

With our national presence, travel will be required. The role will be based in the Greater Toronto Area.

This role includes the following job responsibilities:

- To gain experience in theatrical lighting, audio, systems design, and installation both on site and at head office
- Work alongside and under the direction of a Senior Field Service technician
- Perform preventative maintenance visits to help maintain client systems
- Take responsibility to accurately complete job documentation as needed including organizing and maintaining Field Service.CA files, drawings, reports and configurations in both paper and electronic format
- Field installation of control programs (QSC, ETC Lighting, Crestron) - upload and download capability
- Field service support of networked devices (Switches, Routers, WAPs)
- Perform general skilled labour tasks including but not limited to pulling cable, low voltage terminations, installing connectors, mounting projectors, and hanging ceiling mounts
- Provide end-user client training
- Adhere to and understand WSIB standards for all phases of the job
- Represent both the Company and its clients, professionally and respectfully.
- Working at heights on aerial lifts and ladders
- Maintain incoming repairs/bench work and shipping & receiving
- Other duties assigned as needed.
