**MOVER**

**Job description**

Firemen Movers is a locally owned and operated premium moving company servicing the GTA and abroad. **Job Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate company vehicles (DZ license required) for pickups, deliveries, and relocations
- Load, unload, and move products, furniture, and materials safely and efficiently
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (forklift certification required)
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including inventory management, order fulfillment, and receiving/shipping of goods
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
- Provide leadership and direction in the absence of supervisors
- Interact with clients and customers in a professional and courteous manner
- Identify and resolve problems quickly; think on your feet and make sound decisions under pressure
- Work independently and take initiative to complete tasks without direct supervision
- Assist in training and supporting new or temporary warehouse staff as needed

**Requirements**:

- Valid **DZ Driver’s License** with a clean driving record
- **Forklift Certification** is mandatory
- Proven **experience in moving or logistics operations**:

- Strong **leadership abilities** and team-oriented mindset
- Excellent **customer service** and interpersonal communication skills
- Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy items regularly
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Flexible schedule, including availability for weekend work when required

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in warehouse or logistics management
- Basic computer skills (inventory tracking, reporting, etc.)
- Health and Safety training

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 80.00 per week

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- delivery driving: 1 year (required)
