Forklift/ Bulk Operator

**POSITION OVERVIEW**:
Working under the supervision of the Logistics Manager, the Forklift/ Bulk Operator is responsible for participating in and optimising the day-to-day forklift operations, managing inventory and ensuring safety standards are met on the work site at all times. They will play a key role in the Warehouse department and will contribute to the overall operations at Lantic Rogers Inc.

**RESPONSABILITIES**:

- Conducting forklift operations while ensuring a safe handling of the equipment.
- Trailer loading and unloading using forklift; bulk trailer loading and railcar unloading; railcar mover operating (company train); loading tote bags.
- Receiving and shipping packaged products, and verifying proper documentation; picking, wrapping and staging orders for shipment; product storage using the WMS system.
- Quarantining non-conforming products.
- Inventory maintenance (including cycle counts); managing inventory by utilizing RF scanning equipment.
- Identifying workplace safety hazards; adhering to safety management standards.
- Cleaning (includes garbage removal and using floor scrubber).

**QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:

- Minimum high school diploma
- Valid forklift certificate
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience
- Must be able to read and write in English
- Must be able to lift 40kg bags

PRE-EMPLOYMENT MEDICAL TEST IS REQUIRED

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $24.00-$33.00 per hour
