**Job Summary Statement**:
The Operations Manager oversees and manages all warehouse activities within the designated building(s), ensuring they align with company objectives. This role aims to maximize efficiency, minimize costs, and uphold the quality standards established by the company.

**Essential Functions & Responsibilities**:

- Oversees all within the designated warehouse by managing Warehouse Supervisors and/or Team Leaders to ensure that tasks and responsibilities are performed competently, in accordance with HACCP, SQF, and Health & Safety protocols, procedures, and established standards.
- Establishes immediate and long-term labour requirements and communicates them to the Management Team.
- Issues daily, weekly, monthly & annual reports as requested by Management.
- Supervises and assists in the daily shipping and receiving of product adhering to shipping and labeling functions as per customer requirements.
- Ensures that workload is managed effectively, WMS is being used appropriately and discusses issues across all teams.
- Assists HR with hiring and training competent and skilled staff.
- Identifies opportunities to improve processes, as it relates to warehouse employee job functions.
- Collaborates with the SQF Manager to implement and uphold HACCP and SQF programs, ensuring ongoing compliance and certification.
- Initiates and participates in quality planning/improvement activities.
- Utilize the cycle count system to meet monthly, quarterly and annual quotas, ensuring that accuracy targets are consistently achieved.
- Report any inventory issues to the Inventory Supervisor for guidance and resolution.
- Performs other duties as required within their scope as requested by management.
- Practices ethical management and treats all with dignity, trust, and respect.
- Creates a positive work environment by demonstrating and sharing functional/ technical knowledge in alignment with company policies and standards.
- Assigns the highest priority to customer satisfaction while meeting commitments to achieve business objectives.

**Job Specifications—Skills and Competencies**:

- Minimum 10 years' experience in a 3PL environment with budget responsibility.
- 10 years’ experience utilizing RF Warehouse Management Systems.
- 5-10 years' experience managing teams of 50 (or more) employees on multiple shifts.
- Exceptional communication skills including proficiency in both written and spoken English.
- Exceptional people skills for working with individuals and teams.
- Strong problem analysis and problem-solving skills with an action-focus for implementing solutions.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work effectively.
- Deadline-driven with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong knowledge of safety standards and accident investigation reporting.
- Strong knowledge/experience of forklift operations. Valid license preferred.
- Fully capable of working in varying temperatures (temperatures may range anywhere from 2°C to 15°C in most company warehouses and may range from 0°C to -30°C in company Cold Storage buildings).
