We are looking to hire enthusiastic bilingual (Spanish/English) Financial service representative that understands the importance of excellent customer service. **Position Summary**: Reporting to the Store Manager, the Full-time Financial Service Representative ("CRS") will be responsible for sales, customer service, local area marketing, and store security, among other functions. The CSR's primary goal will be to provide excellent customer service through the provision of various financial services, such as cheque cashing, payday advances, lines of credit, and prepaid cards. **Responsibilities**: - Cash handling/teller responsibilities - Opening/closing the branch - Provide knowledgeable answers to questions about the product, pricing, and availability - Work with internal departments to meet the customer's needs - Data entry on various platforms and POS systems - Building customer relationships while providing exceptional customer service - Register new customers quickly and efficiently - Promote all store products and services - Reviewing applicants/completing financial risk assessment to determine approvals - Handling and balancing daily cash and debit transactions - Daily store maintenance and upkeeping - Complete all paperwork accurately **Qualifications**: - A College diploma and/or equivalent work experience - Excellent oral & written communication skills in English and Spanish - Must have strong computer skills and be comfortable navigating multiple systems simultaneously - Must have basic - intermediate Excel proficiency - Must have strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask - Must be a team player who is customer-oriented and self-motivated with a proven ability to interface confidently with internal and external stakeholders - Must be energetic, enthusiastic, and goal-oriented **What we offer**: - Business - Casual dress - Company events and incentives - Health, Life & Dental Benefits - Birthday Paid Day Off - Positive and supportive team - Opportunity for career advancement **Availability**: **Salary**: From $16.70 per hour **Benefits**: - Company events - Dental care - Extended health care - Life insurance Schedule: - Every Weekend - Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate: - North York, ON M9N 2R5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) **Experience**: - Customer service: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person
