Client Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of clients' financial status, including income, expenses, assets, and liabilities, to understand their financial goals and needs. Tax Planning: Collaborate with clients and tax professionals to develop tax-efficient strategies, such as maximizing deductions and credits, managing capital gains, and utilizing tax-advantaged investment options. Financial Education: Educate clients about financial concepts, investment principles, and best practices to enhance their financial literacy and empower them to make informed decisions. Compliance and Ethics: Adhere to legal and ethical standards in all client interactions, maintaining client confidentiality, and complying with industry regulations and guidelines, such as those set by regulatory bodies like the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Canada (FSRA). You must have: Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively and independently, provide assistance and build relationships. Fluency in a second language is an asset. Basic understanding of government programs and policies, including but not limited to Registered Accounts, Cash Accounts and Trust accounts. 3 to 5 years of experience in a customer-oriented position A diploma or Bachelor's degree is an asset.
