Down to Earth Labs is hiring a seasonal laboratory technician

Down to Earth Labs located in Lethbridge, AB is an agriculture testing lab that is committed to providing quality results in a timely matter to our customers. We offer a fun, vibrant work environment and are looking for hardworking individuals that are willing to learn. As an employee, you are expected to contribute to this positive environment as often as you can. Bring your sense of humor, teamwork skills, and professional abilities, and have fun while working hard.

We are looking for individuals to join our team from September to mid December, with opportunities for extension.

The start time varies from 4 to 10 am depending on volume of samples.

8-hour work days with possible overtime.

Duties included but are not limited to:
Sample prep (grinding and putting samples away)

Assisting with sample analysis.

Assisting technicians to report accurate results in a timely manner

Keeping lab and work areas clean and tidy.

There are no specific education requirements however having the following skills will help you succeed at Down to Earth labs:
Winning work ethic

Time management skills

Positive attitude

Honesty

Ability to work as a team but also independently

Interest in agriculture and the agricultural community is of high importance to us. Prior experience is not required for this position, but may be beneficial in understanding the importance of the testing that we complete.

**Salary**: From $16.00 per hour
