Milk River is only a 27 minute drive from Writing on Stone Provincial Park, housing the largest concentration of petroglyphs in North America and an astonishing landscape. The Milk River Health Centre is staffed with an experienced team of laboratory and x-ray professionals that offer strong patient focused service to their community.As a CLXT I, you will be a member of an interdisciplinary team where you will be responsible for providing exemplary patient care by applying regional policies to perform procedures in both the laboratory and in diagnostic imaging areas. You will be responsible for collecting and analyzing biological specimens, conducting X-ray examinations, ECGs, and reporting results, routine equipment maintenance, maintaining supplies and performing quality control procedures as required.With a customer service focused approach, and your strong coordination, organization, and communication skills, you build productive and respectful customer relations and take responsibility for customer satisfaction. Relocation assistance may be available with a Return of Service Agreement.Description:As a Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologist I, you will perform procedures in both the laboratory and in diagnostic imaging, typically in rural sites. You will work as a member of the inter-professional team and be responsible for collecting and analyzing biological specimens, conducting X-ray examinations, ECGs and reporting results.
