**Office Clerk - Cash balancing**

If you have experience as a head cashier, cashier or have an interest in accounting, we want to meet you We are looking for someone with a good attention to detail, a team player able to deal tactfully with others.

This person will be responsible for reconciling bank deposits, verifying receipts and maintaining communications with the stores.

**Job Description**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Download daily deposits, credit card and gift card statements.
- Reconcile store deposits with our POS system on various payment methods.
- Investigate cash shortages or overages and determine the reason and origin of the discrepancy.
- Audit and reconcile bank cash deposits
- Verification and audit of weekly reports (discount reports, refunds, etc.)
- Verification of transactions for fraud detection
- Make manual bank deposits
- Perform other administrative duties.

**Qualifications**:

- Must be available full time; 40 hours;
- Strong communication skills in both French and English (written and spoken);
- Attention to detail;
- Ability to work in a team;
- Experience in a cashier position an asset;
- Computer literate and comfortable with Excel
- Experience in internal sales audit (1 year experience)
