**Summary**

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Concrete Plant Supervisor oversees production operations for all concrete-related activities (concrete production, blocks), as well as transportation by mixer truck. In addition, the supervisor ensures compliance with applicable regulatory requirements in order to ensure the quality, validity and integrity of the data collected, as well as planning and managing human and material resources required to achieve the objectives.

**Responsibilities**
- Human Capital_
- Supervise a team of heavy equipment operators, concrete mixer operators, mechanics and laborers by ensuring compliance with established procedures/standards and ensure timely delivery.
- Responsible for assigning tasks to team members.
- Maximize his presence in the field to ensure adequate supervision of the team members.
- Report manpower requirements to the Project Manager.
- Manage conflicts and maintain a good work climate and conduct disciplinary meetings if necessary.
- Must work in conjunction with the OHS Representative.
- Must conduct at least two rounds of surveillance with the OHS Representative each day and report observations to the Project Manager.
- Administration_
- Manage time sheets, work schedules, vacation follow-up and others.
- Responsible for the daily reports and their transmission within the prescribed deadlines.
- Responsible for the reception of merchandise and the SharePoint follow-up of orders received.
- Produce a pro audit once a week.
- Conduct monthly safety meetings as well as production meetings.

- Report all quality non-conformances and implement applicable corrective actions.
- Supervise maintenance and repair work according to the priorities established with the project manager.

**Qualifications required**
- Diploma in management, administration, or other relevant training.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar field, and in personnel supervision.
- Knowledge of concrete and the operation of a concrete plan.
- Advanced English, knowledge of French (an asset).

**Working conditions**
- Schedule: 14/14.
- Work environment: mining site
- Location: Gogama, Ontario.
- Travel allowance, room and board, and remote location allowance
- Group insurance.
- RRSP with employer contribution.

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Supervising: 3 years (preferred)
