Concrete Crew

**Roles**:
**Concrete Supervisors**
- Oversee Concrete Crew Workers
- Ensure safety, quality, and productivity requirements
- Reading and setting grades
- Placement of reinforcing steel & mesh as required
- Provide direction to the team
- Oversee & provide feedback on the maintenance requirements of equipment (i.e.: concrete vibrators, slip forming equipment and accessories, etc.)
- Ensure stringline are installed per requirements for slip forming
- Construction of concrete sidewalks, curbs, driveways, walls, footings, steps, etc.
- Use of hand floats, trowels, brooms, and edge tools to create a uniform finished product
- Job-site preparation as required
- Pour and spread concrete
- Safe operation, cleaning, and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, and machinery
- Able and willing to work with concrete vibrators, screeds, etc.
- Manual labour

**Concrete Finishers**
- Construction of concrete sidewalks, curbs, driveways, walls, footings, steps, etc.
- Use of hand floats, trowels, brooms, and edge tools to create a uniform finished product
- Job-site preparation as required
- Pour and spread concrete
- Safe operation, cleaning, and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, and machinery
- Able and willing to work with concrete vibrators, screeds, etc.
- Manual labour

**Concrete Formers**
- Building and dissembling forms for concrete curbs, sidewalk, driveways, retaining walls, footing, steps, etc.
- Participate with reading & setting grades
- Placement of reinforcing steel & mesh as required
- Use of hand floats, trowels, brooms, and edge tools to create a uniform finished product
- Job-site preparation as required
- Pour and spread concrete
- Safe operation, cleaning, and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, and machinery
- Able and willing to work with concrete vibrators, screeds, etc.
- Manual labour

**Slipform Machine Operators**
- Monitor and participate in the maintenance of slip forming equipment and slip forming accessories
- Install stringline as required for slip forming
- Construction of concrete sidewalks, concrete curbs, concrete driveways, retaining walls, footings, steps, etc.
- Job-site preparation as required
- Pour and spread concrete
- Safe operation, cleaning, and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, and machinery
- Able and willing to work with concrete vibrators, screeds, etc.
- Manual labor

**Concrete Labourers**
- Construction of concrete sidewalks, curbs, driveways, walls, footings, steps, etc.
- Participate with Job-site preparation as required
- Pour and spread concrete
- Safe operation, cleaning, and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, and machinery
- Able and willing to work with concrete vibrators, screeds, etc.
- Participate with the installation of stringline as required for slip forming operations
- Manual labour

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Able to work outdoors, and stand for extended periods of time.
- Experience in the construction field is considered an asset.
