**Bookkeeper**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Process accounts payable and receivable accurately and in a timely manner.
- Reconcile bank statements and balance accounts regularly.
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and summaries for management.
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure accurate recording of employee hours and compensation.
- Monitor and manage company budgets and expenditures.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- File GST, PST, WCB, and manage payroll filings.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure timely submission.
- Perform general administrative tasks related to finance and accounting.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience in filing GST, PST, WCB, and managing payroll.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High degree of accuracy and reliability.

Pay: $22.00-$27.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- QuickBooks: 1 year (preferred)
- Bookkeeping: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)
